VSO presents WHY BE GOOD?

The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra’s second Back to the Movies performance of the 2024-2025 season. Played with live accompaniment by the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra chamber ensemble. Produced in 1929 by First National Pictures, WHY BE GOOD? features the story of a young saleswoman, Pert Kelly, who gains the attention of her boss’s son, Peabody Jr., during a late night of dancing. The following day, Pert finds herself in a compromising situation after arriving late to work and uncovering just who her future date truly is.
