HOLD MY BEER is a scripted comedy-drama that takes you into the life of an autistic young adult from Vancouver, Washington who discovers a passion for craft beer and embarks on a mission to open his own brewpub. Set against the vibrant backdrop of Vancouver's arts, music, and craft beer scenes, this short film celebrates local talent and neurodivergent creativity. Filmed almost entirely in Vancouver, WA, Hold My Beer features area landmarks and establishments while exploring themes of family, forgiveness, and having the courage to pursue one's dreams. It was made possible in part by a generous grant from the Vancouver, WA Culture, Arts, and Heritage Commission, and includes Mayor Anne McEnerny-Ogle in a cameo role. There will be a "Happy Half-Hour" from 6pm-630pm with $5 pints of limited-edition "Hold My Beer Vancouver Hazy IPA" courtesy of Loowit Brewing Company, and the first 30 attendees to arrive will receive a free "Hold My Beer" logo swag pack, including a 5 oz. sampler glass, coaster, and sticker. Most of the film's cast and crew are expected to be present. Admission is free, and all ages are welcome (feature is self-rated PG-13 for alcohol use and mature themes).PT3H2025-01-23HOLD MY BEER"HOLD MY BEER"
